The Wagyu Cattle

Wagyu cattle are raised with extraordinary care, ensuring their well-being and the development of their renowned marbling, tenderness, and rich, buttery flavor. From the start, these cattle are selected for their superior genetics and raised on family farms that prioritize ethical and humane practices. A key element in their upbringing is maintaining a calm, low-stress environment—some farms even play classical music in the barns to promote relaxation and a peaceful atmosphere, which has been shown to support healthier growth and reduce animal stress.

The animals are fed a carefully balanced, vegetarian diet designed by animal nutritionists, typically including grains, hay, and essential nutrients to encourage steady development and optimal fat distribution. Wagyu cattle are also raised longer than traditional breeds—up to 30 months—to allow for the full expression of their signature marbling.

They are never given growth hormones or unnecessary antibiotics, and all animals are source-verified for full traceability. With access to clean water, natural light, and open spaces, they are free to move comfortably, enhancing both their welfare and the quality of the beef.
